Microsoft to launch Lumia 640 and Lumia 640 XL in India on April 7



Tech giant Microsoft has sent out media invites for the event on April 7 where the company is planning to launch the Lumia 640 and Lumia 640 XL smartphones in India. E-commerce retailer Flipkart has started posting teasers hinting at the launch of the new Lumia devices.

Flipkart's teaser shows two medals painted in Microsoft Windows colors and highlighting the smartphone’s camera and battery capabilities. The tag line says, “A new challenger comes, to change the game!”

Processor: Snapdragon 400 processor
Memory: 1GB of RAM, 8GB internal storage expandable via microSD card
Camera: 8.7 MP rear camera, 0.9 MP front camera

OS: Windows 8.1 upgradeable to Windows 10.
