Panasonic launches quad-core T33 4-inch smartphone at Rs 4,990

Panasonic India has launched a budget T33 quad-core smartphone with a 4-inch WVGA display. It comes with support for 21 Indian regional languages. It has a layered design & leatherette back cover giving it a sleek look. The company claims that the smartphone will provide faster charging and longer battery durability for its consumers.

Commenting on the launch, Mr. Manish Sharma, Managing Director, Panasonic India said "The T33 Smartphone has been developed and designed to overcome the fundamental problem of language barriers faced across India by giving them an option to choose from various languages to interact, engage, entertain and connect in their preferred language. We are sure that adding support for local language in the device will give an opportunity to our customers to communicate seamlessly."

Sharing his thoughts, Mr. Pankaj Rana, Business Head - Mobility Division, Panasonic India said "Language is one of biggest barriers that prevent people from using mobile phone functions exhaustively. This Smartphone has specifically been launched to enable vernacularization by serving the unique needs of Indian consumers across multiple markets. This does not only create a powerful medium for our consumers but also gives them a chance to interact, exchange views and communicate in a hassle-free environment.

The Panasonic T33 smartphone is available in pearl white & duke blue colours. It is available across retailers and ecommerce sites for Rs.4,990.

Panasonic launched the Eluga Z smartphone in India earlier this month for Rs 13,490. The smartphone has an octa-core processor and runs Android 5.1. It has 5 inch HD 720p Amoled display. The smartphone has 2GB RAM and 16GB inbuilt storage expandable up to 32GB. Connectivity wise the smartphone features 3G, Bluetooth, USB, WiFi, GPS. It has a 13 MP Autofocus rear camera with LED Flash and a 5 MP front camera. It is backed by a 2,050mAh battery. Panasonic has bundled the Eluga Z smartphone with a flip cover, protective case, and screen guard for free.
