Sony Xperia Ultra C5 smartphone to launch on Aug 3?

Rumors about Sony launching new smartphones have been making the rounds for a while. The company has now posted a tweet on its Xperia mobile’s Twitter account teasing the launch of a new phone on 3 August. Rumors suggest that Sony may launch the Xperia Ultra C5 at the event.

The tweet hints at a new smartphone that will be able to capture split second photographs. “Focus closely now, a new way to capture split-second photos is coming. 03.08.15 #Xperia,” it said. No other specifications of the device have been revealed yet.
According to rumors the Sony Xperia Ultra C5 will feature a 5.5-inch full HD display with 1080x1920 pixels resolution. It will have a bezel free display. It will be backed by a 64-bit MediaTek octa-core SoC with 2GB of RAM. The handset will come with dual 13MP front and rear cameras with Sony IMX230 sensor, that was also seen on the recently announced Moto X Style andMoto X Pure edition smartphones. The volume rocker on the device can also be used as a camera zoom button.
