Asus unveils Zenfone Max with 5.5 inch HD display, 5000 mAh battery

Asus has unveiled the Zenfone Max with a powerful 5000 mAh battery at the ZenFestival. The smartphone USP is the mammoth 5000 mAh battery and it can also be used to charge other devices. The smartphone has a 5.5-inch display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and Corning gorilla glass 4 protection. It is backed by a 1.2 GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 410 processor with 2GB RAM. The smartphone has 8GB/16GB internal storage expandable up to 128GB with microSD card slot. 

Asus Zenfone Max runs Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with Zen UI 2.0 on top. The smartphone has a 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, Real Tone flash, Laser Auto Focus and a 5MP front-facing camera with wide-angle lens. Connectivity options included are 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It is backed by a 5000mAh (non-removable) battery. Asus has not revealed the pricing of the device but has confirmed an October launch.
