Google has memorizes the 229th anniversary of the historic climb to the "White Mountain" with a google doodle. Jacques Balmat and Doctor Michel Paccard did the first ever ascent to Mont Blanc on On 8 August 1786. Mont Blanc is the highest mountain in the Alps and the highest peak in Europe at 4,807 m (15,771 ft) above sea level.

The Google doodle depicts icy peak of Mont Blanc with two little black men climbing all the way up to the top of the peak.
