Meizu MX5 smartphone to launch on Aug 26, registrations now open on Snapdeal


China's Meizu is ready to launch its next flagship smartphone the MX5 in India on Aug 26. The Meizu MX5 smartphone will be available exclusively via snapdeal.com and registrations for the device is now open.

The Meizu MX-5 smartphone has a 5.5 inch HD AMOLED display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It runs Android 5.0 operating system with the company's proprietary Flyme UI on top. It has an octa-core MediaTek 2.2 GHz processor with 3 GB of RAM. The smartphone is available in 16, 32, and 64 GB ROM variants. Camera wise the smartphone features a 20.7 MP rear snapper with laser auto-focus, dual-tone LED flash and panorama shot. It also has a 5 MP front selfie camera for video chatting that can record full HD videos. 

Connectivity options included in the MX-5 are dual SIM, 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1, and an IR blaster. The smartphone comes with an integrated fingerprint sensor for added security. It is backed by a non-removable 3150 mAh battery which comes with mCharge feature that according to the company can charge your smartphone to 60% in just 40 minutes. The Meizu MX-5 smartphone is available in grey, gold, black and silver colours.
