Samsung has launched its slimmest phone the Galaxy A8 in
India for Rs
32,500. The smartphone boasts of an integrated fingerprint sensor, bezel less
display and runs Android 5.1 based TouchWiz UI.
Samsung Galaxy A8 smartphone comes with two Nano-SIM slots, which can be used for dual-SIM support or as a microSD card slot. The smartphone has an all metal design, near bezel-less screen similar to the Galaxy S6. It comes with an integrated fingerprint sensor which also works as the home button. The smartphone has a 5.7-inch full-HD display with 1080x1920 pixels resolution Super Amoled display. It runs on the octa-core Samsung Exynos 5430 SoC with 2GB of RAM. It has 32GB internal storage expandable up to 128 GB via microSD card slot.
The Samsung Galaxy A8 comes with a 16 MP autofocus rear camera with optical image stabilisation, a wide-angle lens, LED flash and a 5MP front camera. Connectivity options included in the smartphone are Bluetooth 4.1, dual band Wi-Fi, GPS, Glonass, and 4G LTE. It packs a 3050mAh battery that according to the company delivers 304 hours of standby time.
