Sony Xperia Z5 and Z5 Compact to debut on September 2

Sony has confirmed that it will be launching "many new features" at the upcoming IFA event in September. The company has announced a press event for September 2, where it may unveil its next flagship devices- the Xperia Z5 and Z5 Compact ahead of IFA 2015. The company's own 'Made for Bond' teaser posters show blurred images along with the next flagship smartphone.

According to rumors the Sony Xperia Z5 will feature a 5.5-inch display and will be powered by a Snapdragon 810 v2 chipset. Camera wise the Xperia Z5 smartphone will have a 21 MP IMX230 sensor and an 8MP front camera for clicking selfies. The leaked images of both the devices suggest that the smartphones will come with built in fingerprint scanners embedded on the power button.

Earlier this week Sony has unveiled its new selfie centric smartphones the Xperia C5 Ultra and the Xperia M. The devices boast of 13 MP front cameras with LED flash for clicking clear selfies.
