1. Gartner says Indian mobile services market will reach $21.4 billion by 2015
Research firm Gartner says that the Indian mobile services market will grow by $ 880 million to reach $ 21.4 billion by 2015 year end. The firm says that the growth will be driven by affordable smartphones and mobile data services in the country.
2. Karbonn launches budget Aura 9 smartphone with 4000mAh battery
Karbonn mobiles has launched a new budget smartphone called the Aura 9 with a powerful 4000 mAh battery. The smartphone has a 5-inch big IPS-LCD screen, an 8MP auto-focus rear camera and a 5MP front camera. The device also offers support for 21 Indian languages.

3. Ola launches Ola select benefit program
Ola cabs has launched a special 'Ola Select' program for its customers that offers perks like Free In-Cab WiFi facility, special discount offers, Exclusive deals and more from Ola partners. The facility has been launched in Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad and Delhi.

4. Ubuntu powered smartphones launched in India
European company BQ has launched the first Ubuntu powered smartphones in India called the Aquaris E4.5 and Aquaris E5. The smartphone will be available exclusively via e-commerce site Snapdeal by end of August at a price of Rs 11,999 for the Aquaris E4.5 and Rs 13,499 for the Aquaris E5. 

5. Lenovo A2010 cheapest 4G smartphone launched at Rs 4,990
Lenovo has launched its cheapest 4G smartphone in India called the A2010. The smartphone has a 4.5-inch display, 1GHz quad-core Mediatek MT6735m processor with 1 GB RAM and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop. 

6. Blackphone 2 smartphone to launch next month
Blackphone 2 smartphone will be launched next month and is available for pre-orders on the company's website. It has a 13MP rear camera and runs on Silent OS, an Android-based operating system. 

7. Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ smartphone launched in India for Rs 57,900
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ smartphone was launched at the Galaxy Unpacked 2015 event along with the Galaxy Note 5 earlier this month. The smartphone is now up for pre-order in India at Rs 57,900 for the 32GB version. It will go on sale from August 28.

8. Line's new app allows users to locate their Family and friends
Messaging app Line has launched a new app that allows the users to share their location with contacts in real-time. The new app makes it easy to locate where your family and friends are or when their contacts arrive at a set destination without having to message or call them.

9. WhatsApp Web now available for iPhone users
WhatsApp web is now finally available for Safari on the Mac users. The webapp was launched for Android users nearly eight months back.

10. Micromax Canvas Tab P680 with 3G support launched for Rs 9,499
Micromax has launched Canvas Tab P680 tablet at Rs. 9,499. The budget tablet supports 3G voice-calling and comes with dual-SIM support. It will be available in metallic copper colour on offline and online stores from Saturday.
