1. Panasonic Eluga Switch reversible smartphone launched for Rs 19,990
Panasonic has launched the Eluga Switch smartphone with a 360 degrees reversible display at Rs 19,990. The smartphone has 5.5 inch display, octa-core processor, 8 MP front camera and dual microphones so you can talk with your phone upside down.
2.  Airtel launches 4G LTE services in Kochi, Kerela
Airtel has launched its 4G LTE services in Kochi. The telecom operator has already launched 4G services in 296 towns across India earlier this month. The company is offering a complimentary upgrade to Airtel 4G at same price as 3G for existing customers.

3. Microsoft launches Cortana for Android in Public Beta
Microsoft's voice assistant Cortana is now available for Android users via the home button shortcut. The public beta of the app is currently available only in the US, and will be launched in other markets soon.

4. Microsoft unveils Nokia 222 and Nokia 222 Dual SIM Internet-enabled feature phone 
Microsoft has announced two new affordable feature phone- Nokia 222 and Nokia 222 Dual SIM. These internet enabled phones have a 2.4-inch (320 x 240 pixel) QVGA LCD display and a T9 keypad. They have a 2 MP fixed-focus rear camera and come with 2G connectivity. The phones will be launched in select markets in Sept.

5. Flipkart rolls out social network Ping
Flipkart has rolled out a new social network called Ping that has an inbuilt chat feature as well. The app allows users to have real-time conversations with friends and get feedback about a product they plan on buying.

6.  Google tests new feature that allows you to add food images to maps
Google is testing a new feature that allows users to add food images to different locations on Google maps. The new feature is available to local guides level 3 and above, which is people who have submitted more than 30 reviews as a part of Google's local guides prog.

7. Facebook launches new donate-now button for non-profits
Facebook has added the donate button for the pages of all non-profit organisations and linked advertisements. "Every day, people use Facebook to raise awareness and support for causes they care about and to motivate others to do the same. We’re inspired by how much good comes from these connections, so we’ve added ‘Donate Now’ calls-to-action on Pages and link ads to make those connections easier than ever," a Facebook spokesperson told TechCrunch.

8. Cyanogen OS based Wileyfox Storm and Swift smartphones announced 
Wileyfox has unvieled Cyanogen OS 12.1 based Storm and Swift smartphones. Storm has a 5.5-inch 1080p screen and an Octa-Core Snapdragon 615 SoC. While the Swift smartphone comes with 5-inch HD display and a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 SoC. Both the smartphones support Dual-SIM and 4G LTE connectivity.

9. Uber tests 'Smart Routes'
Cab hailing app Uber is testing a new “Smart Routes”feature, that will offer quick pick up and drops for passengers along a specific routes. An uber official confirmed, “We have begun testing a new feature to streamline the UberPool experience for both riders and drivers. This experimental feature, called ‘Smart Routes,’ aims to simplify pick-ups by encouraging riders to request a ride along specific routes in San Francisco.”

10. Microsoft Office 2016 to launch on September 22
Microsoft had stated that the company will be launching its Office 2016 for Windows in the second half of 2015. Now a new report has surfaced which claims that the release date will be September 22. Office 16 will come with some new features including a dark theme, and a 'Tell Me' help assistant in the Ribbon UI.
