1. Meizu MX5 smartphone launched for Rs 19,990 on Snapdeal
Meizu has launched its flagship MX5 smartphone in India for Rs 19,990 exclusively via The smartphone boasts of a 5.5 inch Full HD display, 2.2 GHz octa-core processor and Android 5.0 based Flyme OS. It has a 20.7 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera. 

2. Sony Xperia C5 Ultra Dual with 13MP rear and front cameras launched at Rs 29,990
Sony has launched the Xperia C5 Ultra Dual smartphone with 13MP front and rear cameras in India at Rs 29,990. The selfie focused smartphone features a 6-inch HD display, octa-core processor with 2GB RAM and 200 GB expandable phone memory.

3. Google introduces Map Maker in more countries
Google has expanded its Google Map Maker service to 45 more countries. The internet giant has also filed a patent that will allow it to track potholes on roads, creating a database and also giving alerts to drivers.

4. Microsoft XBox One to be availble in physical stores from next month
Microsoft XBox One will now be available in physical stores across the country. Till now it was available only via online ecommerce store Amazon.

WhatsApp has rolled out a new update for Android that gives user more control over notifications from individual contacts. In addition whatsapp has also introduced several new emoji's and an option to utilize less data. 

6. Facebook launches moments app in India
Facebook has launched the moments app in India for Android and iOS users. The feature makes automatic video collages from the images uploaded on the social networking site. 

7. Samsung's new smartwatch will compete with Apple
Samsung has showcased a few images of its upcoming smartwatch on Instagram and claims that the new device has exclusive features that will help compete it with the Apple watch. Samsung's wearable will come with an inbuilt GPS tracker and a dual-core 1.2 GHz processor with 4GB RAM.

Intex has launched a budget 3G smartphone called the Intex Aqua 3G Neo for Rs 3,690. The smartphone has a 4-inch display and runs Android 4.4. The device is meant for budget consumers and first time smartphone users. 

9. Panasonic Eluga Switch smartphone with reversible display launched for Rs 19,990
Panasonic has launched the Eluga Switch smartphone in India for Rs 19,990. The device has a 5.5 inch full HD reversible display. It comes with dual microphones so you can even talk with your phone upside down. 

10. Samsung launches free solar charging points in Bangalore
Samsung has started offering free mobile charging facilities for smartphone users in Bengaluru. The company has set up solar-powered charging facility for all users in the city. “We have set up a free solar powered charging facility in Bengaluru. This is the first such initiative by Samsung, any smartphone user can avail the facility. With a significant market share in the IT city we want to provide a better experience to smartphone users,” said Asim Warsi, Vice President, Marketing, IT & Mobile at Samsung India.
