1. Apple iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus to launch on Oct 16
Apple has announced that it will be launching the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus in India on Oct 16, less than a month after the smartphones global launch. The India pricing of the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus has not been revealed yet.

2. Videocon launches Z51Q Star, Z51 Punch budget smartphones
Videocon has launched the budget Z51 Punch and the Z51Q Star smartphones in India for Rs 5,490 and Rs 5,999, respectively. The budget devices feature 3G support, dual sim connectivity and come pre-installed with the v-safe app.

3. Pakistan cybercriminals deface 20 Chattisgarh government websites
Pakistan-based cyber hackers have hacked over 20 websites of Chhattisgarh government, including state police's website. The sites display Pakistan's flag with a remark saying 'Rummy Khan was here, Jux a security round'.

4. Government directs TRAI to penalise telcos
The government has asked the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) to penalise mobile service operator due to the call drop issues. According to a recent report the call drop issue has doubled in the last year.

5. Intex launches 11000 mAh power bank
Intex technologies has launched a 11000 mAh powerbank for Rs 1099 in India. The power bank has four LED indicators to show the power status, a torch function is available online via PayTM, Snapdeal, and Amazon.

6. Yu Yutopia to launch soon
Yu will be launching its next flagship device the Yu Yutopia soon powered with a Snapdragon 810 Soc. The device is expected to have a 5.2 inch display and will be available in 4GB RAM and 3GB RAM variants. 

7. Vivo launches new Y Series budget smartphones from Rs 6,000 to Rs 13,000
Vivo has introduced the budget Y27L, Y31 and Y15S smartphone in the price range of Rs 6000 to Rs 13,000 respectively in the country. 

8. Skype Android app gets updated, adds support for Android wear
Skype's new update, adds support for Android Wear as well with functions like incoming calls, notification alerts, etc. 

9. Ban on internet services in Jammu and Kashmir extended
The ban o internet services in Jammu and Kashmir has been extended as a precautionary measure in view of apprehensions of misuse of the services by miscreants to create communal tension. 

10. Nexus devices specifications leaked online
Google will be launching its next generation nexus devices soon, according to reports the device will be called Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P. According to reports the smartphone will come with USB Type C and integrated finger print readers.
