1. Samsung announces the Gear S2 smartwatch
Samsung has officially announced its next generation Gear S2 smartwatch. The Gear S2 runs the company's Tizen OS and has a 1.2 inch display. The wearable supports 3G, Bluetooth, NFC and e-sim with voice capability. 
2. Karbonn launches quad-core Titanium S200 smartphone at Rs 4,999
Karbonn has launched the Titanium S200 smartphone at Rs Rs 4,999. It boasts of a 5-inch HD (720x1280p) IPS display, 1.2GHz quad-core processor with 1GB RAM and Android 5.1. The smartphone is available exclusively via snapdeal.com.

3. Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace smartphone launched at Rs 6,400
Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace budget smartphone is now available across physical stores in the country. The smartphone has a 4.3-inch WVGA display, Android 4.4 KitKat and a 1.3GHz dual-core processor.

6. LinkedIn replaces inbox with messaging service
LinkedIn has launched a revamped messaging service similar to chat apps. The new service will include features such as GIFs and stickers to add a "little extra personality" to user's chats, the company said in a blog post.

8. Ola to provide free medical insurance to drivers
Ola has announced free medical insurance for all drivers and their families, which will cover hospitalisation and other major medical expenses. “Ola has already started in Hyderabad and Mumbai and has served over a thousand driver families. In the next couple of days, this program will kick-start in Bangalore, Delhi, Kolkata, Pune and Chennai followed by a phased roll out across the country in the coming weeks,” Ola said in its press release.

9. Line Launcher for Android Launched, Focuses on Customisation Features
Japanese messaging app Line has launched the Line Launcher for Android users. Line Launcher app weighs 11MB and runs on devices with Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich or later. The app is available for download free on the Google Play Store.

10. Google India accused of abusing search dominance by CCI
Google India has been accused of abusing its dominant position in online search in India. According to sources close to the matter, a preliminary report from the Competition Commission of India (CCI), a quasi-judicial regulatory body, found fault with Google's handling of its online advertising.
