1. Google unveils new logo
Google has unveiled a new logo today with cleaner lines. The new logo has been revealed ed just a month after the company announced major restructuring and a new holding company Alphabet.
2. India has over 350 mln internet users:IAMAI
India has crossed 352 million internet users as on June 2015. India has added over 52 million Internet users in first six months of the year, according to a report by IAMAI. The report also reveals that nearly 213 million (over 60%) users accessed the worldwide web through mobile devices.

3. Micromax Canvas Fire 4G smartphone with Mediatek processor launched
Micromax has launched the new Canvas Fire 4G smartphone with a quad-core MediaTek (MT6735) Cortex-A53 processor. The 4G LTE device has a 4.5-inch display and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.

4. Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 LTE launched at Rs. 39,400   
Samsung has launched the Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 LTE for Rs 39,400 in India. The tablet runs Android 5.0 Lollipop and has a 9.7-inch QXGA (2048x1536 pixels) resolution Super Amoled display. It has an octa-core Exynos 5433 processor (four cores with 1.9GHz + four cores with 1.3GHz) clubbed with 3GB RAM.

Xolo has launched the Black smartphone exclusively via The smartphone boats of a 5.5-inch full-HD IPS display with a 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution. It has a octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor with 2GB RAM and runs Android Lollipop.

6. Intex partners with Microsoft for providing free cloud storage on smartphones
Indian handset-maker Intex has partnered with with Redmond-based IT giant Microsoft to provide 50 GB of cloud storage space for two years via Microsoft's OneDrive in smartphones sold in India, the company announced. 

7. Xiaomi to launch notebooks in 2016?
Chinese handset maker Xiaomi may launch a notebook in 2016 according to a report in Digitimes. According to the report Xiaomi has partnered with ODM partners Inventec and Foxconn Electronics to develop a new notebook.

8. Instagram Direct messaging update brings new features
Facebook owned Instagram has updated its Direct messaging feature to add support for sharing images from the users feed using Direct, respond to a photo with a photo and start a conversation using text.

9. TRAI asks information from telecom operators on call drop issue
Rising concerns over call drops, has led to the government to address the problem, with regulator TRAI being asked to seek information from telecom operators about their infrastructure and capacity for providing effective services. PM Narendra Modi had voiced serious concern over the menace of call drops and asked officials concerned to take urgent steps to address it as it affects the common people.

10. Ericsson to roll out first 4G services for Airtel subscribers in Delhi
Telecom company Ericsson has Ericsson has announced a partnership with services provider Airtel, to roll out its 4G services. The four-year agreement is the first LTE-FDD rollout by Ericsson in Delhi.
