1. Android switchers account for 30% of iPhone buyers in Q4
Apple's CEO Tim Cook has revealed that 30% of new iPhone buyers were Android switchers. The comapny claimed that it was a switching record for the company. He added, "It's a huge number and we're very proud of it".
2. Huawei becomes the third biggest smartphone maker
Huawei has witnessed 63% y-o-y jump in smartphone sales and has become the third biggest smartphone maker globally after Samsung and Apple.

3. Le 1s with MediaTek Helio X10 SoC, 3GB RAM launched
Letv has launched its fourth smartphone, the Le 1s at CNY 1,099 (approx Rs. 11,250) in China. The smartphone comes with an integrated fingerprint scanner, 2.2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 processor and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop based EUI 5.5 UI. 

4. 5-inch Oppo Neo 7 with Snapdragon 410 SoC, 4G LTE connectivity launched 
Oppo has launched the Neo 7 smartphone for Rs 9,990. The device boasts of a 5-inch qHD screen, quad-core Snapdragon 410 64-bit SoC and Android 5.1 (Lollipop) OS with Color OS 2.1 UI.

5. Xolo BLACK 1X 4G LTE smartphone launched for Rs. 9999
Xolo has launched a 5-inch Black 1X smartphone with a 5inch 1080p display, an Octa-Core 64-bit MediaTek MT6753 SoC and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) with HIVE Atlas UI on top. 

6. Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo gets Android 5.1 update
Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo has finally recieved the Android 5.1 lollipop update. The update brings bug fixes, Material design and system enhancements.

7. Xiaomi Redmi 2 Pro spotted at FCC
Xioami Redmi 2 Pro has been spotted at FCC hinting that the smartphone may launch in the US soon. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 410 chipset, and sports a 4.7-inch display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. 

8. Motorola Droid Turbo 2 with 'Shatterproof' Display launched
Motorola has launched the Droid Turbo 2 smartphone, boasts of a 5.4-inch QHD (1440x2560) display with 'ShatterShield' display. The smartphone boasts of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core SoC with 3GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 2TB expandable memory.

9. Flipkart to open offline 'experience' stores
Flipkart is planning to launch exclusive experince stores where customers will be able to look and feel a gadget before purchasing it. The e-commerce giant plans to open 100 such stores across India by March 2016.

10. Apple Watch pricing revealed
The Apple Watch will be launched in India on Nov 6. According to reports, the Apple Watch Sport will be priced starting at Rs. 30,900, while the most expensive Gold model will cost Rs. 14.2 lakhs.
