1. Apple iPhone 6s sales sluggish in India
Apple has seen a sluggish response to its latest iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s plus smartphones in India due to the outrageous pricing.

2. Samsung Tizen the most popular in India
Samsung has announced that its Tizen OS is the second most popular smartphone OS in India. The company made the announcement at the launch event for its latest Tizen based smartphone the Z3. 

3. OnePlus offers 2 year extended warranty to consumers
OnePlus has started offering two new insurance and warranty plans to OnePlus 2 users starting at Rs 999. The plans will be available for customers who have bought the smartphones within the last 1 month.

4. Vodafone to launch 4G in Delhi in December
Vodafone has confirmed that it will be rolling out its 4G services in Delhi NCR from December. "Key corridors of Delhi/NCR will be part of the first wave of the 4G roll-out, which will be launched across the circle in a phased manner. Testing of 4G services has commenced successfully," Vodafone said. 

5. Wickedleak Wammy Titan 5 smartphone with 4165 mAh battery launched at Rs 14,990
Wickedleak launches the Wammy Titan 5 smartphone, boasts of a 4165 mAh Li-Po battery, a 13 MP rear camera with Samsung K3L2 CMOS sensor and a 5 MP front camera. The device comes with a 5.5 inch display and an octa core processor with 3GB RAM. 

6. Oppo R7s smartphone with 4GB of RAM launched
Oppo has unveiled its new R7s smartphone at an event in Dubai. The smartphone boasts of a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) Amoled display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and runs 3070mAh non-removable battery. The company has not revealed the launch date of the Oppo R7s in the Indian market.

7. Infosys partners with IBM to create Bluemix-powered Innovation Lab
Infosys has partnered with IBM, to launch IBM's Cloud platform Bluemix that will rapidly prototype, develop and deploy the next generation of cloud apps for its global client base.

8. BSNL landline users can now avail free call benefits on their mobile too 
BSNL will soon be rolling out free calling benefits to its mobile customers as well. The state teleco had launched the free call benefits to its landline users earlier this year. 

9. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg to visit India for Townhall Q&A at IIT Delhi on 28 October 28
Mark Zuckerberg has announced via his Facebook page that he will be hosting a Townhall Q&A at IIT-Delhi on Oct 28, answering queries from across Facebook and also a live audience at Delhi’s Indian Institute of Technology.

10. Jawaharlal Nehru University to soon get campus wide Wi-Fi services
Students of the Jawahar Lal Nehru Univ will soon get Free Wi-Fi services throughout the campus, including the hostels and residences.
