1. iPhone 6S, 6S Plus bookings fall short of expectations
The bookings for the Apple iPhone 6S and 6S Plus smartphones have fallen short of expectations, according to the company's trade partners. An official stated that the bookings have been less in number this year due to the high prices, and users are waiting for the smartphones to be available at cheaper prices when launched online.

2. Micromax buys stake in Gaana plans to integrate app with its smartphones 
Micromax has invested in Gaana.com, under the deal, Gaana will be available on all Micromax smartphones, enabling users to seamlessly enjoy mobile music.

3. OnePlus X to be unveiled at an event on 29 October
OnePlus X smartphone is expected to be unveiled at a company event on 29 Oct. The company has already sent out press invites for the event with the tag line 'See you October 29, London. #PowerfullyBeautiful.'

4. 73% of IT pros concerned of being hacked via IoT devices 
The nternet of Things devices pose a major security concern for enterprise business prospective. A recent survey has revealed that 73 percent of all organization are likely to be being hacked through an IoT device, hile 63 percent state that the increasing use of IoT devices in the workplace has decreased employee privacy.

5. Nasscom And Facebook partner to mentor Developers
Nasscom has partnered with social media giant Facebook for a program called 'Leaders Building for the Next Billion'. The initiative is meant to inspire innovation for new internet users by supporting developers who are building innovative apps and mobile websites for these communities.

6. Apple faces $862 million lawsuit
Two India-born engineers are part of a team that won a patent lawsuit against Apple Inc in the US for using the technology developed by the group into its products, a case that could cost the tech-giant up to $862 million.

7. Facebook bug shows your popularity

A new bug that infected Facebook's mobile website, shows users view counts for their own and others' posts throughout the social network. The bug affects only the facebook mobile app and not the desktop versions.

8. Aircel to offer free basic internet in India
Aircel has stated that the company will be offering access to basic free Internet services in a year across India.

9. Huge discounts on Honor Huawei in Flipkar Big Billion Day sale

Flipkart is offering huge discounts on the Huawei Honor smartphones as a part of  the Big Billion Day’ sale festival. The discounts will be available to users between 15th October to 17th October and will available across all honor devices.
