1. Now send messages and files on Hike without internet connection
Messaging app Hike has launched a new feature named Hike Direct which allows users to chat and send messages without an Internet connection. The feature has already been rolled out to 70 million users of the messaging app.

2. Motorola launches Moto X Style smartphone starting at Rs 29,999
Motorola has launched the Moto X Play in India today. The 16GB variant of the smartphone will cost Rs 29,999, while the 32GB model is priced at Rs 31,999.

3. OnePlus One smartphone now delivered in 1 hour of placing order
Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus is running a new promotion in Bengaluru, in which the company will deliver the OnePlus One handset to customers with in 60 minutes of placing the order. Similar to popular pizza brands delivery models, the smartphone will be free if it reaches the customer later than the 60 mins!

4. Google confirms Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P India launch date 
Google has confirmed the launch date of its flagship Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P smartphones in India as Oct 13. The Google Play Store listing states that the Nexus 5X will cost Rs 31,900 for 16GB variant and Rs 35,900 for 32GB, while Nexus 6P will be priced at Rs 39,999 (32GB) and Rs 42,999 (64GB).

5. Google unveils a public transport app for Delhi
Google has launched a Delhi Public Transport App, which will make it easier for people to get around on public transport. Delhi Public Transport app makes the direction and time-table information for Delhi Metro and buses available offline, to help users get information about directions between bus stops and metro routes even when they don't have any net connection," Google said in a statement. 

6. Xiaomi launches its doorstep service for Rs 189
Smartphone maker Xiaomi, has launched PickMi doorstep pick up and drop service at just Rs. 189 inclusive of tax in India. The service will be available to customers pan-India and will include all Mi products.

7. Microsoft launches 4G LUMIA 640 smartphone at Rs 17,399
Microsoft has launched the LUMIA 640 LTE 4G smartphone at Rs 17,399 in India. The smartphone boasts of a 13MP camera, 5.7 inch HD screen and Windows 8.1 operating system.

8. Solt 3-in-1 Windows tablet with 10.1-inch display launched at Rs. 19,450
Domestic device maker Solt has launched a 3-in-1 Windows tablet for Rs. 19,450. The tablet can be used in 3 modes, as a tablet, laptop with the bundled keyboard dock, and a 'desktop' with a slightly larger dock. It is available on online retailers Snapdeal and Amazon India.

9. Google announces the Accelerated Mobile Pages Project
Google has partnered with key internet companies to launch the Accelerated Mobile Pages Project. The open source project aims to ‘make the mobile web experience better for everyone’, according to the company.
