OnePlus X smartphone coming in October

OnePlus CEO Carl Pei had stated earlier this year, that a new OnePlus smartphone will be launched this year. Now reports have surfaced online about a new smartphone called OnePlus X that the company will be launching this month.

Earlier leaked images reveal a smartphone with a slim device with ultra-thin bezels. The OnePlus X will have a dual-camera, dual-tone LED flash, and dual speaker grills on the bottom. Images had revealed an integrated fingerprint scanner and a USB Type-C similar to the OnePlus 2. New reports have revealed that the OnePlus X will have a 5-inch full HD display, and will be powered by a Snapdragon 801 processor. The device is expected to be priced at approx Rs 16,500.

Vikas Agarwal, general manager of OnePlus India stated in an interview with ET Tech, “We’re introducing a new device by the end of this year. Diwali would be the ideal time, but next quarter for sure. It would be a global launch, but India will be the biggest focus.”
