1. 5-inch OnePlus X smartphone with quad-core Soc launched starting at Rs 16,999
OnePlus has launched its next smartphone, the mid-range OnePlus X in India. The smartphone is available in two variants Onyx and Ceramic, priced at Rs 16,999 and Rs 22,999, respectively.
2. Vodafone to launch 4G services in Kolkata by December
Teleco Vodafone has announced the launch of its 4G services in Kolkatta along with the Delhi-NCR region by December. The company had stated that it will be launching its 4G services in Mumbai and Kerala circles as well.

3. Google's internet balloons to come to Indonesia
Google Project Loon will be launching in SriLanka and Indonesia soon. The Project Loon is a part of the company's project to connect people in remote parts of the world.

Oppo has launched the Neo 7 smartphone in India at Rs. 9,990in Black and White colours. The smartphone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with the company's custom ColorOS 2.1 skin on top and has a 5-inch qHD (540x960 pixels) TFT display.

7. Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 2 Pro 3C Certified in China
Xiaomi's next high-end Redmi Note 2 Pro smartphone has been certified in China. The smartphone will come with a full-metal design and an integrated fingerprint scanner.

Airtel has launched four new internet data plans for users that will access more data on smartphones, and in turn help its profits.

9. Intex launches Aqua Play budget 3G smartphone with Android 5.1 for Rs. 3249
Intex has launched a new budget device called the Aqua Play, features Android 5.1 (Lollipop), 4-inch WVGA IPS display and is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor.

10. Snapchat adds rewind, fast-forward, and slow-motion video filters
Snapchat has added new “Speed Modifiers,” features to its app, that allows users to add slow-motion, fast-forward or rewind actions to your videos.
