Microsoft Lumia 950 and 950 XL- the smartphone that works like PC


Microsoft, one of the world’s largest software maker, known for Windows, launched their first windows phone smartphone OS in 2010. After a wait of few years they are coming up with LUMIA 950 and 950 XL in November 2015 – the smartphones with high end features, premium design, killer camera and the best Windows 10 experience. Microsoft will be launching the phones in India on Nov 30, the pricing of the devices has not been revealed yet. 

The new Lumia 950XL has a 5.7-inch HD display and weighs 165 gms. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 quad core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and having body dimensions of 151.9x78.4x8.1 mm, it has a resolution of 1440x2560 pixels.

The Lumia 950, to be launched along with the Lumia 950XL, is almost similar except smaller 5.2 inch display size, Snapdragon 808 quad core processor and body dimensions 145x73.2x8.2 mm. Both of them have super strong corning Gorilla Glass 3 and 4 displays which makes them scratch resistant and finger print resistant. Powered with Windows 10 and cool continuum feature it makes it very easy and convenient to work on office apps and find apps, music, videos etc on your smartphone. The superfast processors, powerful and large capacity battery (3340 mAh and 3000mAh), wireless charging, document viewer, video/ photo editor are some of the other brilliant features being offered.

The differentiating feature of these phones is their outstanding camera quality with 20 megapixel sensor which captures every minutest detail and keeps the memories fresh. It has Rich capture - an intelligent camera setting that automatically takes a better picture, along with triple LED natural flash that enables different flash tones to balance out brightness.

Another amazing feature available is windows hello beta- the safe and secure way to unlock your phone screen- you look directly at the display screen and the infra-red camera technology will authenticate you. Considering all the specs and features both these smartphones have everything of quality standards and arguably the best mobile camera till date. It is the state of art technology available for window fans in a smartphone that helps you do much more.
