6-inch Q Terra smartphone launched at Rs 19,990

Qiku 360 has launched Qiku Q Terra smartphone in India on 30 Nov 2015. In its open sale, the handset is available for Rs 21,999 without any invite. But with a Q-invite the device is priced at Rs 19,999 via its online partner Gadgets 360. The Q-invites will be available from 5 December onwards on Qiku website, forum and gadgets 360. 

Built in a metallic body, it has a massive 6 inches 1080p, IPS Full HD display with screen to body ratio of 83% and using corning gorilla glass3 for super strong protection. It has a 2.5 D curved glass along with -1.4 mm side bezel and weighs 185gms. Powered by 2GHz Octacore Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processors, coupled with 3GB RAM, it has an inbuilt storage of 16 GB expandable up to 128 GB via micro SD card. It accepts hybrid Dual SIM with Nano and Micro SIM slots.

Running android 5.1.1. with 360 OS interface, it offers security and performance features as that of the latest marshmallow.  It also has airspace cooling technology that helps to keep the phone cool plus  a fingerprint sensor that unlocks the phone in less than 0.5 seconds. Another unique in- built feature is the  “heat tracing” , which helps you determine the app that is causing the phone to heat up, so that you can quickly stop it.

The other mundane specs are 4G LTE network, wifi, Bluetooth, GPS and GLONASS. Available in gold and silver colors it packs a 3700mAh non removable, fast charging battery. As far as the cameras are concerned, it includes a 13 MP rear camera with Sony IMX278 sensor, dual –tone LED flash, 4k video recording and 8 MP front camera for selfie shooters.

Hence Q Terra is a smartphone with different features, which quietly impresses everyone. Its 6 inch display has given it a phablet feeling. With the invite system, the buyers have the option to buy it at a premium of Rs 2000.
