6.3 inch Letv Le Max smartphone with 21MP camera to debut in Jan 2016

The Chinese smartphone maker Letv is all geared up to launch its new smartphone “Le Max” in the Indian market in mid Jan 2016. The company has organized a preview event in Delhi, on 5th January 2016, and the media invites for the same have already been sent.

Talking about its specs, all metal wrapped Le Max flaunts a 6.33 inches (2560x1440p) Quad HD display and measures 8.95 mm thick and weighs 204 gms.  Snapdragon 810 processor is under the hood, with Adreno 430 GPU and carrying 64 bit octa core CPU. It is running Android 5 lollipop based EUI paired with 4GB RAM, in built storage of 64 GB and extendable storage up to 128 GB via micro SD card. It is a dual SIM device that packs a 3400 mAh battery and a fingerprint reader on board, which lets you store up to 5 fingerprints. Its LeTouch technology can unlock the phone within 0.15 seconds.

Letv LeMax offers 4G connectivity, with USB Type C port, wi fi 802.11 ac/a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS, NFC and wireless HDMI. Talking about the photography, 21 MP camera adorns the rear with Sony IMX 230 sensor, f/2.0 aperture, dual ISP support and OIS and a 4MP front shooter with Omni vision OV4688 sensor.

Priced roughly at Rs 30,500, and available in gold and silver color variants, the phablet is specially designed for the Indian consumers. Le Max with its gigantic screen size, high end specs and reasonable price is truly like an elephant in the room.
