Intex Aqua Star 4G smartphone with iData now available at Rs 6,499


Intex technologies has launched another smartphone in its Aqua series, coined as Intex Aqua Star 4G.  The USP of this phone is its new iData feature, developed by Opera Max. By using this app one can save the data consumption by up to 50% on browsing, checking images and streaming videos on you tube, Instagram or gaana.com. Intex will be the first Indian brand to incorporate the Opera Max’s data saver function into its smartphone.

Other routine specifications include a 5 inch IPS HD display screen (720x1280p), 1 GHz quad core MediaTek MT6735p processor with 1 GB RAM.  The device has an on board storage of 8 GB which can further make an addition up to 32 GB using a micro SD card. On the software side, it runs Android 5.1 lollipop. 3G, GPRS/EDGE, 4G, Micro USB, wi fi, and bluetooth are the connectivity options and a 2000mAH battery completes the package.

The camera department houses an 8MP rear snapper with LED flash and a 2MP front shooter for selfie lovers. Considering the high usage of smartphones in today’s fast paced times, data consumption plays a very vital role. Aqua Star 4G is specially designed for the tech savvy consumers, with  an in- built data saving feature to control their data consumption and also to get the max possible out of their data plans. Priced at Rs 6,499, Aqua Star 4G is available in white, grey and black color variants.
