Alcatel One Touch announces Fierce XL, the Windows 10 powered smartphone.

Alcatel One Touch is excited to unveil its flagship device, first Windows 10 powered smartphone “Fierce XL”, at CES 2016. Launched in light blue color, the handset will be available in US very soon, via T-Mobile stores.

Talking about the specifications, it flaunts a vibrant 5.5 inch IPS HD display with 720p resolution and dragontrail glass protection. The phone with 9.4 mm thickness and weighing 174 gms, supports 4G LTE with Category 4 bands. Powered by 1.1 GHz quad core qualcomm Snapdragon processor it comes paired with 2GB of RAM, in built storage of 16 GB, extendable up to 32 GB via micro card. A 2500mAh battery promises to deliver 14 hours of talk time and stand by time up to 820 hours. Camera wise, the device packs an 8MP autofocus primary shooter and 2 MP selfie snapper at the front. It will also support the basic connectivity needs namely quad- band 2G, triple – band 3G, Wi fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v 4.1 and GPS.
Fierce XL comes preloaded with Microsoft’s Office Mobile apps namely word, power point, excel, one drive and features like Cortana, Microsoft’s digital voice assistant and Microsoft Edge. It will also have some T-mobile specific features like wi-fi calling compatibility and FCC mandated anti- theft protection.

Today’s customers demand much more from their smartphone than just having a voice and data connection. Considering these changing demands, Microsoft offers powerful personal assistant like Cortana, document storage via one drive and hyper connectivity all the time, to make the mobile usage a wonderful experience. Hence Fierce XL is a solid looking windows 10 mobile for budget conscious shoppers.
