Bringing winds of change – the all new Lyf Wind 2 phablet launched for Rs 8,299

The much in hype Reliance Retail has expanded its product portfolio with the launch of its latest offering dubbed as Lyf Wind 2. The all new 4G smartphone from Reliance Digital is priced conveniently for Rs 8,299 and is available in awe-inspiring golden colour and offers 4G connected along with VoLTE support.

Talking about its features, the phablet flaunts a 6 inch HD IPS display of resolution (720x1280 pixels) having a pixel density of 294 pixels per inch. The dimensions of the phablet are157.5x81x8.5mm with a weight of 223 gms.  Running on the latest OS android 5.1 lollipop, the device is a dual SIM smartphone accepting a regular and a Nano SIM. The device gets its power from a 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735M processor paired with 2GB of RAM, 16 GB internal memory which can be extended up to 32GB using a micro SD card.

It is the very first phone in the Wind series that has a metallic frame design and features BesLoudness, to elevate the audio performance of the handset. The camera department houses an 8 MP rear camera featuring LED flash and supports  a 2MP camera in the front.

Connectivity wise, it includes 4G, Bluetooth v 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Micro USB with OTG, FM radio and a 3.5mm audio jack. A 2850mAh non-removable battery that promises to deliver up to 9 hours talk time on 4G networks, 190 hours of standby time and up to 6 hours of HD video playback completes the package. Inbuilt sensors include ambient light sensor, an accelerometer and a proximity sensor.

The company has announced to offer a free 4G SIM and three months of free data with the device.
